How can you turn down playing DND with us? So what if its oldschool? Its not just about the convienence of playing on the computer now, its about hanging out with your friends. But it is proving hard to find anyone to play. Plus, you know I feed my guests, so thats free food and soda ;D Anyway think about it.

C'mon fatty. Yeah, real life doesn't have the graphics that NWN has, but, for me, it's not really about the technicalities of the game. It's sitting around a table with my pals arguing about rules! ( j/k) It's hanging out with you guys and playing a game we all enjoy.

Do those arguments include when you can get a "Attack Of Opportunity" and when you can not? ;D

Actually, I'd say most of our arguments were about spells.

I told him that he made a bad analogy. I would take Pen and Paper D&D over NWN any day. It's not just the "game" variable that should be focused on.

LMAO Aeon. Woot free food and junk! Heh. Yea I know guys. I miss hanging out with the "click" back in the day staying up into the wee hours of the morning trying to get one encounter done and our progress being impeded by arguments (fueled by the argument reoccurring, and of course lots of jolt/mountain dew) about whether a cleric should, could and/or would dual-wield katanas... The random, in-direct slaying of "torch-bearers" by the cunning use of a phrase as simple as "no, no... HE's in front!"... The time I (ALONE) ended your entire adventure that you'd planned for at LEAST one week before hand, with a lucky roll on a dagger toss... T's absolutely mind-boggling way of getting the shittiest item in the pile, and then complaining about it for the next 4 hours... My characters' (all of them) uncanny ability to get hit by everyone's (even her own) botched attack rolls or any other random object that happened to find itself propelled thru the air... I don't remember why, but I wasn't in the greatest of moods when you called and asked me to play. And seeing as how I no longer have NWN installed (or the 12gigs of portraits, hacks and music) I can't use that as an excuse. I'll play with you guys.

HAHA! I remember that quest, you killed that with a dagger between the eyes (wasn't it a critical) and he got pissed. And you're right.... we could randomly throw a dagger in any direction or dodge an arrow heading straight for us, and you'd always get hit ;D

Yes, it was a attack roll of 19 (auto hit) and a crit check of natural 20. Yep. My characters are always blessed with somekind of natural blackhole for random things. Reminds me of the scene in Hitchhiker's Guide when that were on Vogsphere... My characters always get hit in the face like those little black fly-swatters.
