It's tough to get everyone together, and it only makes it tougher when people say "I may be there...if something doesn't come up." That's like saying "Yeah, I'll be there, if I can't find anything better to do." If you don't want to commit because "something else may come up" then just grow a backbone and say you won't be there. At least then we'll know what kind of plans to make (How many people will show, how much food to get, who we can/can't invite, working the game time around work schedules etc etc.) That being said, if you're saying that you "might be there if nothing else comes up" means you might be there if you're not in the hospital, or a relative of yours isn't dead between now and then and you've got to attend a funeral, or you've got to work (which isn't the case), then I can understand and that pretty much goes without saying. But saying that you're "not sure" if you'll come when you were told about it a week in advance and now it's down to the day before is just plain assholish and really a kick in my teeth, friend. |

I believe I already said I missed the ol' days and was looking forward to playing again with the group, but if things pop up and I'm not able to make it, I don't want to fucking say I'll be there for fucking sure and then have you bitch at me (much like you're doing now) for not showing up. I'm sorry. I can't at this moment give you a definate yes or no on whether I'm coming. I'm sorry if that troubles you or whatever, but I don't pressure you into shit and then shoot you down before the shit even occurs.

I would expect this behavior out of a highschool female, but you two are rediculous. You act like you are dating. If you cant come, thats fine, no need to fight about it... But I have a babysitter, and can always play the game with myself, and good ol' friends vodka and amaretto. Maybe the whole thing was just a rediculous idea anyway.  |
