As some of you know I work for an ISP. A small one, but we have a pretty good size client base. Anyway, about 90% of my calls are from people that are infected with some sort of adware or spyware or virus. So, I'm always looking for ways to cut them out.
Check this out. Found a site with some good information on getting rid of freakin ads on webpages. This info is if you're using IE (Internet Explorer).
Up at the top in IE, goto Tools>Internet Options>Privacy. Click the "Sites" button. And add these to your list to Block:
adecn.com adknowledge.com adrevolver.com adserver.com advertising.com akamai.net atdmt.com barrelracer.com belnk.com burstnet.com clickandtrack.net doubleclick.net ecreditrepair.com empnads.com fastclick.net gms1.net googlesyndication.com imixserver.com inqwire.com kanoodle.com mediaplex.com partner2profit.com partner-source.com realmedia.com ru4.com swbtk.net targetnet.com trafficmp.com travelzoo.com tribalfusion.com valueclick.com yieldmanager.com zedo.com
Always block those and you'll be good to go. It even stops the ads from loading on THIS site.

I wish that this would work on Mozilla. Ah well, I use Ad-Aware three or four times a week.
