A new DBZ fighting game. This one was developed for hard core fighting game fans. Since Namco merged with Bandai and are creating the game now, you can expect a level of skill requirement akin to Tekken. They also brought in 2 very cool developers...the guy that made Street Fighter 2, and Akira Toryiama. Akira Toriyama was asked to create an all new DBZ character for the game and came up with Cyborg Freeza (WTF? He's not new?!) but aparently this is a version of Freeza AFTER he was pwned by Trunks.

Also slated is DBZ Budokai Tenchikai 3....with 130 characters...looks prettier, they brought back in game transformations, still has split screen multiplayer...same old, same old combo system looks like, with a few more variations. New characters include Lord Slug, The Blue andriod trucker guy, etc. Also, they're taking full advantage of the PS3's new control ability. I don't know if you guys knew this or not, but aparently with the new PS3 control they can detect when the ACTUALY controller moves...so to do a Kamehameha you can actually MOVE your controller in the kamehameha motion...same for spirit bomb. Gonna make for some ROCKIN drunk games!
From the looks of it, Budokai 3 LOOKS prettier, but I'm more interested in the gameplay of SDBZ.

- Characters are customizable. They can learn moves from other characters (ie Freeza with Kamehameha).
- Side step and wall game are very important now.
