Battlefield: 2142

I am so gonna sell my soul to this game... Some deeper info on classes.

The Recon Class (sniper/scout)

Futuristic Sniper Rifle, Remote Recon Drone... Ding, ding, ding. We have a winner.

The support Class

Futuristic Heavy Machine Gun, Automated Sentry Turret... *splooge*

It also looks like (from those photos) That there is alot more customization this time around. Notice those abilities greyed out in the bottom left? The items which look changable? Some locked slots? Looking like you can fully customize your soldier's loadout to me... Reminds me of Tribes II, which is a good thing.

I do. I've got 1942 with all the expansions and vietnam. I still play BF 2 almost everyday.

It looks like EA has released an actual date for 2142. Looks like our prayers will be answered October 19th (according to www.worthplaying.com/article.php?sid=34620). Some other info, that floating fortress from the trailer (It's called a Titan) is the main element for a new game mode. No more 'just conquest.' Each team has a Titan controlled by the commander which must be destroyed from the inside out. Sounds fun.

Awsome, we'll today i'll be going to the movies and such with my dad and doing the yard (whoohoo! ) and Monday and Tuesday i don't think i'll be around much (orientation at the college, which means i'll be there all damn day for both days.) So i'll try and get on today for a bit.

Edit: Well, i'll try and get a little bit on tonight, but, on Monday I really will be gone ALL DAY. Turns out it's required to spend the night at the college... bleh. So i'll be back around Tuesday afternoon/evening....
