(Yes, those are actually players flying around. There are two factions in the game, angels and demons, good and evil. Each side had they're own wings and which ever side rules more of the world longer the world changes visually to reflect it's rulers. I.E. Demons rule, the world becomes more and more dark and gothic, etc.)
I also checked out a vid from E3 at NCSoft's booth and the game designer guy from the Exteel team said that the game will be free to DL and play indefinately, but people that put money into the game will get slightly better items and junk.
