So, is there a way to make it so PvP doesn't cost you Exp? I bet more people would be PvP friendly if that were the case.

Eh, I didn't mind losing exp. But on AD they had the subdue thing, which worked well as I remember it.

Well, part of it is that I don't feel that good while winning. I mean, my Ogre fought a monk, and the entire thing was a great time. There were several times where we broke combat to do some RP (including one point where the monk drank an invisibility potion, threw a rock at my ogre, then drank another potion, confusing the heck out of my poor ogre ). The entire thing was great, except, uh, then he kinda got himself pinned between my ogre and about 15 minotaurs. The way he played, I thought he deserved to gain experience, but instead, he may have lost a lot.

This is something I really need to change. I'd like there to be rewards on both sides for pvp. The problem is balancing it so that 2 players can't repeat pvp each other for easy xp.

Well, right now, the biggest win for PvP is gold. If you take away the Exp penalty, people might use the bank more.
I mean, yeah, giving XP for PvP would be ideal, but if you remove the penalty... hey, lots of people play Team Fortress 2, and they don't shoot better with 100 kills.
